new year.

i havent posted in foreverrrrr.
ive been busy.
ive been reading.
ive read 3 books in the past two weeks.
three lovely, funny, interesting, smart books.

1. the curious incident of the dog in the nightime. mark haddon.

loveeeed this book (thank you christine). its about an autistic boy who decides to solve the mystery of the murder of his neighbor's dog. along the way, he discovers a lot more than just the identity of the murderer. this was a fascinating book because the boy doesnt fully understand emotion yet his emotions are so poignant and real. a very fun, quick read. like. like. like.

2. little disturbances of man. grace paley.

this is a collection of short stories about love. about being in love. being loved. loving someone. family love. sexy love. being hurt by love. theyre all there. my favorite story was the one about the jewish kids performing the nativity. funny stuff. funny writing. honest writing. i also like. like. liked this one.

3. pride and prejudice and zombies. jane austen and seth grahame-smith.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. that is all.

i have two more books that i reallllly want to read.
but school starts tomorrow.
boo.
but i can make time for them!

sometimes i forget how much fun reading can be and how much i really love it.
(that may be the nerdiest statement that ive made so far this year! go me)!
