why do i love?
a) i love it because of "heartbreak warfare."
story time: yesterday i was walking home across my beautiful campus and i thought to myself, "oh my goodness! what is that one new john mayer song... it starts out like an orchestra tuning! which one was that again??? it was so good!!" and then, like magiccck, the right song (heartbreak warfare) started playing on my inspired ipod. thank you universe. thank you.
b) i love it because of "all we ever do is say goodbye." story of my life. seriously. who is this person who keeps returning to torment my dear john mayer's heart?! just when hes over you, youre back again. how annoying is that?! youre rude and selfish. make up your mind already! (at least you make for a good topic for a great song).
c) i love it because of "assassin."

yet again, story of my life. boys tend to steal my heart and then, after the fact, i am kind of breathless, confused and totallllllly hung up on this guy. thats stupid huh?! but its true. and i like to think that im an assassin too. maybe. maybe not. (probably not). guys dont get hung up on me. a girl can dream though! (but really, i wouldnt want that anyway. i dont want to do that to people. its irritating. i should know. im like the worlds leading expert on how irritating that is).
d) i love it because of "half of my heart." - i like pretending im taylor swift in this song. i belt out that one little line she has and then feel all sorts of satisfied after. but the truth is, im no taylor swift. but its fun to sing it and pretend im her for a second anyway.
e) i love it because of all the other songs too. i want to mention them all by name but the truth is that there is just a smattering of all-around great songs on this album. go! go listen to it! enjoyyy it! i know you will.
to sum up: i like the overall theme of this album. the theme of gamesss. dating games. relationship games. but dont get hasty here, i need to get one thing straight! i dont like games at all. at all. at all. at all. and i hate anyone and everyone that plays games. (thats rude. and stupid. be straight with me here). but i like that john mayer is singing about how much he hates games. i do like that.
look at those puppy dog eyes. how can you not feel bad for this? hes so love sick that he cant tell the difference between his cell phone and a delicious chocolate bar!
ps. your hair looked better when you had it short.
